Under this agreement, Axelor’s solution will now interface with the Codesoft and Sentinel labelling solutions from Teklynx, the world’s leading barcode and RFID software company. Axelor users will be able to define label frames for their shipping, inventory tracking and production needs and print them on the leading printers on the market.
Paris, September 2022 – Axelor, the French publisher of the eponymous modular and intelligent business management platform, today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Teklynx, the world leader in barcode and RFID software. Under the partnership, Axelor’s full web and Open Source platform will be offered with TEKLYNX connectors for CODESOFT label design plus SENTINEL for print automation via RESTful API, maximizing labeling efficiency, quality and control.
Take advantage of ERP data to create labels that can be customised at will…
In general, the new connectors will allow users of both companies’ solutions to customise their barcode labels by creating different frames.
Indeed, the interface with the Codesoft software will enable the creation of personalised label frames, after defining all the parameters that should appear on the labels (batch number, serial number, product description, stock location, etc.). As soon as one of the data is present in Axelor’s ERP, it can be integrated into the new label format.
In addition, Codesoft offers a library of over 100 barcode symbologies as standard. This allows users to handle a wide variety of situations, regardless of industry or need:
- Labelling for shipping goods
- Labelling for warehouse management
- Labelling of finished products in production
- Labelling to comply with regulatory standards
… and easily set up the printing of all possible labels.
With the Sentinel connector, users will now be able to automate the process of printing their labels. For example, the software will be able to manage different label frames per printer, and allow printing to start. In addition, the advantage of Sentinel for companies is that they only need one solution to connect to most printers on the market, without having to create interfaces for each model.
In a pragmatic way, with this new connector, the company defines the access rights of the users to the printers, allowing them to launch all their label printing directly from the workshop or warehouse in which they work, even while on the move from the Axelor mobile application.
In addition, they can monitor the prints made and supervise pending jobs without having to physically interact with the printer.
